This is a senior hands-on position with responsibility for establishing consistent programme controls across a complex portfolio, providing senior leadership with clear visibility of programme status, resources, risks and commercial progress.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Integrated master programme management across multiple projects
  • Resource planning, stage gates, governance and portfolio reporting

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish consistent governance, reporting standards, stage gates and approval processes across the portfolio
  • Maintain oversight of programme risks, resources, funding requirements and key commercial milestones

What We're Looking For

  • Proven programme management experience across complex multi-workstream infrastructure, energy or similar projects
  • Strong integrated programme planning skills using Microsoft Project or equivalent, with the ability to manage cross-project programmes and resource visibility
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience understanding project financials, funding structures and investment decisions

Desirable Experience

  • Formal project or programme management qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent
  • Experience within district heating, utilities or low carbon infrastructure development
  • Experience with public grant funding mechanisms and managing programme compliance alongside commercial delivery
