About Medinet Group
Medinet Group is a dynamic healthcare organisation committed to delivering high-quality clinical services across the UK. The Opportunity
We're looking for a Head of Workforce to lead the strategic and operational workforce function across our Minds and Community services. This is a senior, high-impact role for someone who can turn workforce planning into a genuine competitive advantage - ensuring we have the right people, in the right place, at the right time, to deliver outstanding community-based care while supporting ambitious growth plans.
You'll own workforce modelling, demand and capacity planning, and the rollout of workforce systems that make our operations scalable, efficient and data-driven. Working closely with our Transformation Team, you'll shape how workforce strategy aligns with new service developments and evolving clinical pathways - and you'll lead our Clinical Liaison and Scheduling teams to get there.
- Owning workforce strategy and demand & capacity modelling across community, private and NHS-contracted services
- Leading workforce transformation initiatives and the implementation of new scheduling and workforce management systems
- Providing strategic oversight of workforce deployment, rota design and resource planning across all clinical services
- Building workforce performance frameworks and KPIs - tracking utilisation, fill rates, cost to serve and efficiency
- Maintaining workforce governance, compliance and payroll data integrity
- Leading, developing and inspiring the Workforce, Scheduling and Clinical Liaison teams
- Acting as the organisation's senior workforce voice - presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Significant experience leading workforce planning, strategy or resource management in healthcare or another complex service environment
- Extensive experience in workforce demand and capacity modelling
- A track record supporting organisational growth, transformation or service redesign
- Experience implementing workforce systems or digital transformation initiatives
- Strong analytical, commercial and stakeholder management skills
- Confidence operating at both strategic and operational levels
Desirable
- Experience in community healthcare, mental health, neurodevelopmental services or private healthcare
- Experience implementing workforce management or scheduling platforms
- Knowledge of NHS community service delivery models
- A project or change management qualification
Who You Are
A strategic thinker with real operational grip - analytical, commercially aware, and comfortable working through complexity and ambiguity. You lead with presence, build strong relationships, and are genuinely motivated by improving outcomes through better workforce solutions.
