Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council is recruiting for the role of Pennaeth Ysgol Rhyd Y Grug/Headteacher Ysgol Rhyd Y Grug at Ysgol Gymraeg Rhyd-y-Grug in Aberfan, Merthyr Tydfil. The school serves 286 pupils with Welsh as the main medium of instruction and English introduced from Year 3.

The successful candidate will lead the school with a focus on inclusive, caring culture and safeguarding, and must hold a qualified headteacher status with Leadership level L15–L21.
