Health and Safety Consultant

Our Client, a well-established H&S Consultancy based in Willenhall are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Consultant to join their expanding team, providing health and safety support and assistance in a practical and commercial way, to a varied client base including clients within the Construction industry.

A competitive starting salary of between £35,000 will be offered depending on experience with excellent benefits to include 33 days holiday, pension, EAP, life assurance and bonus.

Most advice will be provided by telephone and email, with travel to client sites across the UK when inspections, audits, risk assessments or incident investigations are required.

The successful candidate will be required to:-

• Help clients identify hazards, implement sensible controls and meet relevant legal and accreditation requirements. To include preparing documentation, SSIP applications, advising on construction safety matters and recommending suitable training and PPE.
• Prepare, review and amend risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work.
• Complete COSHH assessments and advise clients on suitable control measures.
• Draft construction phase plans and support clients with CDM 2015 duties.
