Health & Safety Manager Felixstowe Up to £45,000 + Bonus Polkadotfrog are delighted to be supporting a lovely, well-established, people-focused Felixstowe business in their search for a Health & Safety Manager. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of HS&E across the business, working closely with operational teams to ensure safe systems of work are maintained, and employees have the right information, training and PPE to work safely. The business operates across four sites, with the role predominantly based in Felixstowe and occasional travel to other locations for audits, new starter onboarding and other Health & Safety requirements. Responsibilities: * Take overall responsibility for Health, Safety & Environmental matters, ensuring legal and regulatory requirements are met. * Produce, maintain and review risk assessments and safe systems of work. * Carry out regular site audits, identifying improvements and ensuring actions are followed through. * Organise and chair regular Health, Safety & Environment committee meetings. * Manage fire alarm testing, fire drills and associated records. * Maintain accurate accident and near-miss records and ensure reporting procedures are followed. * Oversee the inspection and maintenance of equipment. * Manage statutory thorough examinations under PUWER and LOLER. * Maintain accurate equipment inspection and maintenance records. * Car...
