Health & Safety Manager - Utilities The Opportunity An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a major infrastructure project during a critical phase of utilities diversion works. The successful candidate will support the safe delivery of complex utility installations, including high-risk excavation activities and works around existing live services, while working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives. Key Responsibilities * Provide day-to-day Health & Safety support across multiple work sites. * Review and advise on RAMS, permits, and safe systems of work. * Attend client and stakeholder meetings as the project's Health & Safety representative. * Work closely with site management teams to ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures. * Monitor site activities, carrying out inspections and addressing unsafe behaviours and conditions. * Support the safe delivery of excavation works and activities involving underground utilities. * Assist project leadership with risk management and the promotion of a positive safety culture. * Participate in audits, inspections, incident investigations, and the implementation of corrective actions. * Drive continuous improvement in Health & Safety performance throughout the project.
