Health & Safety Manager Location: Haslingden, Lancashire - with responsibility across six local sites Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday An established and growing engineering and manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and further develop its H&S function across six sites in Haslingden, Bacup and Darwen. This is a visible, hands-on role offering genuine ownership. You will work closely with operational teams and senior management to ensure consistent standards, legal compliance and a positive safety culture across the business. Key Responsibilities Lead Health & Safety across all six sites Develop and continuously improve H&S policies, procedures and management systems Conduct risk assessments, audits and site inspections Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, implementing effective corrective actions Provide practical guidance to managers and employees Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with current UK legislation Deliver H&S training, toolbox talks and safety initiatives Promote consistent standards and a proactive safety culture across all locations Support the business as it continues to grow and expand its operations About You NEBOSH qualified - essential At least five years' professional Health & Safety experience Strong manufacturing, engineering or similarly high-risk ...
