Healthcare Assistants Walkden, M28 £14.50 - £17.50 per hour Full Time & Part Time | Days & Nights 12-hour shifts Please note: This role requires travel to the Southport Spinal Unit for training and support before the client returns home. Travel contributions are provided. Join Apollo Home Healthcare We're looking for caring and reliable Healthcare Assistants to support a friendly gentleman as he transitions from rehabilitation back to his home in Walkden. He enjoys music, especially blues, jazz and rock, is a passionate Manchester City supporter, and has a keen interest in politics, current affairs and meaningful conversations. Your Role as a Healthcare Assistant ✔ Support community activities and social outings ✔ Administer medication safely ✔ Provide personal care with dignity and respect ✔ Support nutrition and hydration needs ✔ Promote independence and wellbeing ✔ Monitor and respond to health and support needs ✔ Drive the client's adapted vehicle to activities and appointments What You'll Need Minimum 3 months' care experience Experience with medication administration Confident with personal care and moving & handling Strong communication skills Full manual driving licence Pet friendly Important Drivers are essential for this role. You will be required to drive the client's adapted vehicle.
