Chorley Together Primary Care Network are supporting Dr Dawoud's Surgery in their search for an experienced and motivated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join their friendly and supportive practice team,based in Clayton-Le-Woods Chorley.
This is a part time role, working 8 hours per week over 2 mornings per week.
The successful applicant will support the wider clinical team in delivering high quality care to its patient population.

We are looking for an experiened, competent and reliable HCA to support our wider clinical team in the delivery of high quality care for our patients.
About us
Dr Dawoud's Surgery is a member of Chorley Together PCN and the recently formed local GP Federation, Chorley and South Ribble Primary Care Group
It is a semi rural practice located in Clayton- Le-Woods, Chorley, with a list size of approximately 3000 patients. The practice comprises 2 GP partners and 1 Salaried GP, along with a practice nursing and admin team.
The practice has good motorway links with easy access from the M6, M61 and M65. On site parking is available.

Job responsibilities
As our HCA you will support the wider clinical team in delivering high quality care to our patients. Your must be experienced and competent in:
- Phlebotomy (venepuncture)
- NHS Health Checks
- Blood pressure monitoring
- Height, weight and BMI measurements
- New patient health assessments
- Recording clinical observations accurately
- Infection prevention and control procedures
- Working within a primary care environment
