Heating Supervisor / Gas Supervisor London & Southeast | £55,000 + Company Van + Fuel Card + Benefits Full-Time | Permanent | Field-Based Are you an experienced Gas Engineer, Senior Heating Engineer or Gas Supervisor looking to take the next step in your career? We’re working with a well-established organisation providing heating and gas services across London and the Southeast, who are looking for an experienced Heating Supervisor to lead and support a regional team of engineers. This is a hands-on supervisory position where you’ll be responsible for managing engineers, maintaining high standards of gas safety and compliance, supporting day-to-day operations and helping ensure residents receive a first-class service. Job Description As Heating Supervisor, you will oversee a mobile team of heating and gas engineers working across London and the Southeast. * Managing, supporting and motivating a team of Gas Engineers and Apprentices * Providing technical support and guidance to engineers in the field * Monitoring the quality and completion of reactive repairs, planned maintenance and boiler installations * Carrying out quality audits and site inspections to ensure gas safety and compliance standards are maintained * Supporting the scheduling and allocation of engineers across the region * Managing and supporting the out-of-hours emergency heating and hot water rota * Monitoring engineer performance, KPIs and first-time fix rates * Dealing with complex technical issues, resident complaints and escalations * Working closely with subcontractors and monitoring their performance * Supporting van stock, materials and supply chain requirements * Delivering toolbox talks, safety briefings and ensuring safe working practices are followed * Helping maintain full compliance with statutory gas safety requirements Requirements * NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating, Gas Installation or an equivalent qualification * CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CPA1 and CKR1 * Previous experience as a Gas Supervisor, Heating Supervisor, Senior Gas Engineer, Foreman or similar * Experience working within social housing, local authority, housing maintenance or another high-volume maintenance environment * A full UK driving licence * The ability to travel across London and the Southeast as required * Good IT skills and experience using PDA/mobile workforce management systems Package * £55,000 salary * Company van & Fuel card * 20 days annual leave + bank holidays * Generous company pension If you’re an experienced Gas Engineer or Supervisor looking for a role where you can step away from being purely tools-on and take ownership of a regional engineering team, we’d be keen to hear from you.
