This is an excellent opportunity for someone located within an hour and a half of Manchester to work with cutting-edge machinery, receive industry-leading training, and enjoy a competitive compensation package. Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of plant machinery. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely. Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times. Proven experience as a plant engineer, mobile engineer, or similar role. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Relevant qualifications in engineering or plant maintenance (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent). Full UK driving license. Travel to customer sites across the northern region to perform maintenance and repairs. Maintain and manage the company-provided van, ensuring it is stocked with necessary tools and parts. Attend manufacturer training sessions to stay updated on the latest technologies and machinery. Competitive hourly rate of £19.50 - £21.00 per hour. 40-hour workweek with overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours. Fully equipped company van with door-to-door pay and personal use allowance.
