Burton-upon-Trent (DE14) Pay Rates: Days (Mon-Fri):
£16.25 p/h
Nights (Mon-Fri):
£18.25 p/h
Saturday:
£19.25 p/h
Sunday:
£21.25 p/h
About the Role: We are recruiting reliable HGV Class 1 drivers for ongoing contract work with a leading manufacturer and nationwide distributor at their modern distribution hub in Branston. This role consists purely of nationwide trunking and bulk distribution to major trade customers and regional hubs. Key Highlights: Clean Work:
Minimal to zero handball. Drop-and-swap or forklift offload only.
Ideal for Local Drivers:
Flexible runs mean varied start times where local drivers can easily pop home between loads or relax on site.
Top-Tier Facilities:
Drive well-maintained modern fleets backed by an organized, professional transport team.
Requirements: Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
Maximum 6 points for minor offenses (no DD/DR/CD codes)
Strong working knowledge of EU driver hours and tacho rules
