HGV Class 1 Drivers required for excellent temp-to-perm opportunities in Minworth!

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a well established operation offering simple, desirable, RDC work on 4 on, 4 off shift patterns.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for a consistent rota, modern vehicles, excellent earning potential and the opportunity to secure a full-time permanent position.

Pay & Earnings

• Basic pay: £16.49 per hour +£1.00 per hour shift allowance (paid for every hour worked) + £1 per hour night shift allowance
• Effective hourly rate: £18.49 per hour
• Based on guaranteed 12-hour shifts, this provides minimum annual earnings of approximately £40,400
• Overtime shifts available at time and a half
• Additional earning opportunities available through overtime

The Role

• Trunking work, all deliveries to RDCs
• 4 on, 4 off shift pattern
• 12-hour shift average
• Start times between 13:00 and 20:00 driver preferences can be accommodated where reasonably possible
• No handball and no self-tipping
• All vehicles are 2023 or newer
• All trucks are equipped with air conditioning, making them comfortable to drive during the warmer months
• Temp-to-perm positions successful candidates will have the opportunity to move into a full-time permanent position

Requirements

To be considered for the role, you must:

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Have a minimum of 3 months' Class 1 driving experience
• Have no more than 9 points for minor driving offences
• Be able to successfully complete a driving assessment
• Have a reliable and professional approach to work
