People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Bellshill.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression within a reputable logistics operation.
This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as an LGV Class 1 Driver, CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver.
Shifts:
- 4 on 4 off
Rates of Pay:
Days:
- £14.41 per hour basic
Nights:
- £16.50 per hour basic

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your day to day duties are:
• Depot-to-depot trunking, trailer swaps and deliveries to shops and depots
• Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly • Adhering to traffic laws, company procedures and delivery schedulesEssential Skills:
The skills required to be an HGV Class 1 Driver are:
• Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements • Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph xkybehq Card • Good spoken and written EnglishDesirable Experience
• Previous commercial driving experience
Training:
• Driver assessment required prior to start
