- Aston, West Midlands People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Aston, West Midlands .

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as an LGV Class 1 Driver , Category CE Driver , or Articulated Lorry Driver .
Rates of Pay: Days (06:00
- 18:00)
- £17.50 per hour Nights (18:00
- 06:00)
- £18.50 per hour Saturday
- £20.00 per hour Sunday
- £21.50 per hour Shift Pattern: Monday to Sunday 5 days out of 7 Benefits: Your benefits as an HGV Class 1 Driver are: Ongoing work Weekly pay On-site canteen Immediate starts available Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties: As an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will work: Completing refrigerated deliveries with a maximum of three store deliveries per shift Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured correctly Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers Reporting vehicle defects and maintenance requirements Assisting with loading and unloading where required Completing deliveries with no handball involved Essential Skills: To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will need: A valid UK Category CE Licence A minimum of 12 months' experience driving Category CE vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes A valid Driver CPC Card A valid Digital Tachograph Card Good spoken and written English Excellent punctuality xwzovoh and timekeeping skills A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience: Previous commercial driving experience Previous multi-drop delivery experience Training: Industry-related training provided Ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply: If you are interested in this opportunity as an HGV Class 1 Driver , please apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
