HGV Class 1 Driver - Immediate Starts - Hereford - Nights - £21.50ph

Pure Staff are recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver, immediately for temporary work for a client who specialises in distributing alcoholic beverages across the whole of the UK.

Our customer in Hereford is one of our largest clients based in the Herefordshire area and are well known for treating their drivers well from previous and current positive feedback.

Pay rates -

• 
  
• Nights: Monday to Friday £21.50 per hour

Nights: Weekends and Bank Holidays £24 per hour

Your hourly pay rate is £21.50 and you will accrue £2.60 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental well being of all workers.

Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly Umbrella Margins and/or Payroll Processing Fees.

Duties of the HGV Class 1 Driver -

• 
  
• Trunking to RDC's and other depots

No handball involved apart from pulling the curtain back

Night shifts available - home daily (no tramping required)

Modern, well looked after trucks

A positive mentality

Start times vary between 1800 and 2100

Our client will be accepting a Class 1 Driver who fits the criteria listed below:

The ideal HGV Class 1 Night Driver will have -

• 
  
• A valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving Licence

6 months experience is essential for this role

Valid CPC Card

Valid Digital Tachograph Card

Clean Driving Licence with no more than 6 points (No TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)

Shifts can be long but in keeping with tachograph law, up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average
