This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, CE Driver, Trunk Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver, Distribution Driver or Store Delivery Driver .

- £19.00 per hour Benefits As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will receive the following benefits: • Consistent Full-Time Work • Excellent Hourly Rates • Weekly Pay • Temp to Perm Opportunities for the Right Candidate • Immediate Starts Available • Paid Two-Day Site Induction • Free On-site Parking • Excellent Motorway Links • Employee Wellbeing Programme • Supportive and Professional Working Environment Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include but not be limited to: • Operating Class 1 (Category CE) vehicles safely and efficiently • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects • Completing loading and delivery duties as required • Operating double-decker trailers on designated routes • Ensuring all loads are secured safely before transport • Communicating effectively with transport and warehouse teams • Adhering to all road traffic legislation, health and safety procedures and company policies • Completing all relevant paperwork accurately and on time Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need: • A valid UK Category CE Driving Licence • A valid UK CPC Qualification Card • A valid Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD or CD endorsements) • A good level of physical fitness to carry out manual handling duties where required • A reliable, professional and punctual attitude • A good understanding of road safety and transport compliance Desirable Experience • Previous experience within distribution or retail deliveries • Previous commercial Class 1 driving experience Training Provided • Full onboarding support including a paid two-day site induction • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply If you're looking for a driving role offering excellent rates of pay, consistent full-time work, weekly pay, immediate starts and genuine temp to perm opportunities, apply today by clicking the link below.
