The Role of a HGV Class 1 Driver :
This is
not a trunking role . You'll be completing store deliveries to retail locations across the UK. As part of your duties, you will: Deliver goods to stores on scheduled routes
Open stores where required (full training will be provided)
Assist with unloading deliveries
Complete daily vehicle checks
Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally
Deliver excellent customer service
Follow all health and safety procedures, including wearing the correct PPE
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations
A reliable, professional attitude with good communication skills
Previous Class 1 driving experience is preferred
