Class 1 HGV Driver
Tipper / Tramping (UK Wide) We are currently recruiting an experienced
Class 1 HGV Driver in Saffron Walden
for tramping work, delivering loads across the UK.
Tipper experience is not essential
as full training will be provided. Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Tramping
Flexible Monday start time (from 6:00am)
23 drops per day
Nationwide UK deliveries
The Role: Initial collections often involve stone (tipper-style work)
General haulage including stone, rocks, hay, food products, sugar dough, etc.
Delivering and collecting loads as required
Trailer hygiene is critical
trailers must be swept and cleaned after drops
Strict
no cross-contamination
procedures must be followed
Pay & Benefits: Base Salary:
£39,000 per year but drivers on average coming out with £47,000 - £50,000
Night out allowance:
£25 per night
Bonus scheme: Drivers receive
10% profit
on any earnings the truck makes over
£2,500
Saturday overtime available at a
premium rate

Requirements: Class 1 (C+E) licence
No new passes (DNI)
Over 25 years old
Minimum
12 months Class 1 experience
(2 years preferred)
Professional, reliable, and able to work independently
Training & Start Process: Interviews held first
Full training provided, including training days before going solo
