HGV Class 1 Driver (Saturday Night Work)

HGV Class 1 Driver Carlisle, Cumbria People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Carlisle, Cumbria. This is a fantastic opportunity offering up to £17.00 per hour, Monday to Friday working, ongoing assignments, weekly pay, overtime opportunities, immediate starts, paid induction, and genuine long-term opportunities with a leading logistics business. This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, CE Driver, Category C+E Driver, Class 1 Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver, Trunk Driver. Shifts Monday to Friday Rates of Pay: £20.00 per hour (Days) As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will receive: Excellent hourly rates of pay Weekly pay Ongoing work Overtime opportunities Immediate starts available Employee well-being programme Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include: Completing trunking depot-to-depot deliveries with occasional store deliveries Operating Category C+E vehicles safely and efficiently Carrying out pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with transport regulations Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers Assisting with loading and unloading when required As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need: A valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Driving Licence A minimum of six months' Category C+E driving experience A valid Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card Good spoken and written English Previous experience driving commercial Category C+E vehicles Previous trunking experience would be advantageous Previous RDC or store delivery experience would be beneficial Training Provided One-day paid induction following a successful assessment Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply: If you are looking for ongoing Class 1 driving work with excellent rates of pay, overtime opportunities, immediate starts, and long-term prospects, apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
