HGV Class 1 Driver – Cumbernauld – Trunk Driver People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Cumbernauld .

This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as an LGV Class 1 Driver , CE Driver , or Articulated Lorry Driver .
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Day shifts – start times from 10:00 Pay Rate: Days: £16.50 per hour Benefits: Your benefits as an HGV Class 1 Driver include: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay On-site canteen Training provided Genuine temp-to-perm opportunities Employee wellbeing programme Day-to-Day Duties: Depot-to-depot trunking Trailer swaps and deliveries to shops and depots Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly Adhering to traffic laws, company procedures, and delivery schedules Completing all relevant paperwork accurately and on time Essential Skills: Valid UK Category CE (Class 1) driving licence No more than six penalty points for minor infringements Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card Good spoken and written English A professional and reliable approach to work Strong awareness of health and safety procedures Desirable Experience: Previous commercial driving experience Training Provided: Driver xwzovoh assessment required prior to start Full industry-related training provided with ongoing support throughout your assignment Contact: If you are an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a stable role with excellent pay and long-term opportunities, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information.
