HGV Class 1 Driver - Weekend Shifts

Pay: £18.05 - £32.50 per hour Class 1 (C+E) Driver Distribution Centre | Warrington (WA2 8QT) Excellent Pay Rates ******* £1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS! ******** Join us and receive a £1,000 sign-on bonus , paid in two instalments: £500 after completing your first 30 shifts A further £500 after completing an additional 30 shifts Day Shift £18.05 per hour First 45 hours £27.08 per hour After 45 hours Night Shift £21.66 per hour First 45 hours £32.50 per hour After 45 hours We are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing work at the Distribution Centre in Warrington (WA2 8QT) . This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's leading retail distribution operations, with the potential for permanent employment after 13 weeks (subject to business requirements). Shift Times Day (AM) Starts: 03:00 10:00 Night (PM) Starts: 10:00 19:00 During the first 13 weeks , shifts will include weekend working. Permanent positions may become available after this period, operating on a 5 days from 7 rota with weekends off on a rotational basis. Multi-drop deliveries (AM drivers average around 5 drops per shift). Loading and unloading your own vehicle using a manual pump truck. Handling palletised goods and garment rails this is a physically demanding role. Collecting returns from stores and returning stock to the distribution centre. Driving a modern fleet of Volvo FM vehicles with mirror camera technology, including standard trailers, urban trailers, double-deck trailers and occasional rigid vehicles. Full Training Provided Up to five buddy shifts with an experienced driver. Full training on handheld scanning/POD devices.
