HGV Class 1 Driver - Weekend Shifts

HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER – Solihull OTE £55,000 per annum | Permanent Position | Immediate Starts | Full Training | Minimum 3 Months' Experience People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Solihull, West Midlands . This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, CE Driver, CE Driver, Store Delivery Driver, Trunk Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver, HGV Driver or Commercial Driver . Shifts • Monday to Sunday • Start times between 03:00 – 06:00 • Weekend work available if required Rates of Pay • OTE £55,000 per annum • Monthly Pay Benefits As an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will receive: • Permanent Position • OTE £55,000 per annum • Monthly Pay • Immediate Starts Available • Early Finish on Fridays • On-site Canteen • Vending Machines • Pool Tables • Industry-related Training and Ongoing Support Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Driver , your duties will include but not be limited to: • Completing deliveries safely and efficiently across designated routes • Operating Category CE (Class 1) vehicles safely and efficiently • Carrying out daily vehicle safety inspections and reporting any defects • Ensuring all loads are secured correctly before transportation • Completing delivery paperwork and Digital Tachograph records accurately • Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers • Assisting with loading and unloading where required • Following all road transport legislation and company procedures Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will need: • A valid UK Category CE Driving Licence • A minimum of three months' Class 1 driving experience • A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card • A valid Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsement codes) • A reliable, professional, and punctual attitude • A good understanding of Driver Hours Regulations and road safety compliance • Good communication skills Desirable Experience • Previous commercial Class 1 driving experience • Experience working within a fast-paced transport or logistics operation Training Provided • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your employment Apply If you're looking for a permanent HGV Class 1 Driver role offering excellent earning potential, immediate starts, and long-term career opportunities with a well-established logistics business, apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch to discuss the role further.
