- Lutterworth People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Lutterworth .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, weekly pay, and immediate starts.
This role would also suit candidates with previous experience as an LGV Class 1 Driver , CE Driver , or Class 1 HGV Driver .
Rates of Pay: Basic: £18.35 per hour Overtime after 9 hours: £24.41 per hour Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday Start times between 21:00 and 00:00 Benefits: Your benefits as a HGV Class 1 Driver are: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay Site canteen Training provided Immediate starts Employee wellbeing programme Day-to-Day Duties: As an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will work: Completing trunking depot-to-depot deliveries using double-deck trailers Carrying out supplier collections as required Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhering to traffic laws and regulations Essential Skills: To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will need: A valid UK Category CE Driving Licence A minimum of 12 months' experience driving Category CE vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes A valid UK Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card The ability to speak and read English to a good standard Desirable Experience: Experience driving commercial vehicles would be beneficial Training Provided: Assessment carried out on the first shift Industry-related training and ongoing support provided throughout the assignment Apply: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as an HGV Class 1 Driver , apply today by clicking the link below or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more. xwzovoh
