Class 1 Night Trunker Driver – Cheltenham - Temp to perm We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 Night Trunker Driver to join our client's busy operation based in Cheltenham. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for regular, ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position. The Role Working Sunday to Thursday nights, 1 trunk per shift. The role involves very little manual handling, making it ideal for drivers who prefer a straightforward driving and 1 drop position. Shift Details * Location: Cheltenham * Start Time: 5:00 PM * Shift Length: Approximately 8 hours * Working Pattern: Sunday to Thursday nights * Pay Rate: £19.00 per hour PAYE * Immediate start available * Temp to perm Duties Include * Completing trunk runs as required * Dropping off returned trailers * Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects * Following all site health and safety procedures * Maintaining a professional and courteous approach at all times Requirements * Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence * Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience * Valid Driver CPC qualification * Digital Tachograph card * Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations * Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious with a professional attitude What We Offer * Competitive pay of £19.00 per hour * Consistent Sunday to Thursday night shifts * Minimal handball * Well-maintained vehicles and a supportive working environment * Temp to perm position
