Driver Require is recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter for our client based in Coventry(CV8). Pay rate up to £22.41p/h.

Pay Rates for HGV Class1 Shunter Driver:
Day shift(Monday-Friday)-£18.50p/h+Hol pay=£20.73p/h
Night Shift(Monday-Friday)-£20.00p/h+Hol Pay=£22.41p/h
Job description for LGV Class1 Driver:
Safely positioning trailers / vehicles in a timely manner as requested by the Control Room.
* Ensuring the yard area, including entry and exit points, vehicle wash, weighbridge, fuel islands and walkways, are managed in order for both vehicles and pedestrians to move freely and safely within the yard area.
* Promoting best practice and challenge and report on any non-compliance.
* Drive company shunt vehicles in a safe and courteous fashion in accordance with the requirements of the site rules;
* Report any vehicle accidents to the traffic office;
* Report any mechanical defects;
* To fuel vehicles and when required to undertake normal collection and delivery duties;
* Take all responsible action to ensure the safety and security of vehicles, equipment and goods;
* Carry out daily vehicle checks following procedure laid down;
* To ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicles between parking bays and loading bays.
Key Requirements
LGV Class 1 Driver will be required to have a good knowledge of Tacho law and driving regulations.
