or

Commercial Driver . Shifts • Monday to Friday

• Employee Wellbeing Programme Day-to-Day Duties As an

HGV Class 1 Driver , your duties will include: • Delivering steel products to commercial customers throughout the UK

• Securing steel loads safely using industry-approved load restraint techniques

• Driving and operating Category C+E (Class 1) vehicles safely and efficiently

• Carrying out daily vehicle safety inspections

• Ensuring all loads are safe, secure and compliant before transport

• Completing delivery paperwork accurately

• Following Driver Hours Regulations, the Working Time Directive and all road traffic legislation

• Providing a professional and courteous service to customers

• Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptly Essential Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: • Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Driving Licence

• Valid Driver CPC Card

• Valid Digital Tachograph Card

• Minimum of 18 months' Class 1 driving experience

• Previous experience transporting steel (essential)

• Experience securing steel loads safely using straps and chains

• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes

• Good spoken and written English

• Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach Desirable Experience • Previous steel, engineering or construction deliveries

• Previous commercial Class 1 driving experience
