People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver - Stoney Stanton to join our well-established client based in Stoney Stanton, Leicestershire .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work throughout the year, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression, including the potential for a permanent position.
This role would suit an experienced LGV Class 1 Driver , Category CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver looking for a stable position with consistent work and excellent earning potential.
Rates of Pay:
£20.00 per hour
£25.00 night out allowance
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday tramping
4 nights out per week
04:00 start time

Day-to-Day Duties:
As an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will work:
Completing 2-3 drops per day using a curtain-side trailer
Pulling curtains and securing loads using ratchet straps
Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly
Adhering to traffic laws, company procedures and delivery schedules
Completing all relevant paperwork accurately
Essential Skills:
To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will need:
A valid GB Class 1 / Category CE driving licence
A minimum of two years' experience driving Class 1 / Category CE vehicles
No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
A valid CPC Card
A valid Digital xwzovoh Tachograph Card
Good spoken and written English
Excellent knowledge of driver regulations and road safety requirements
Training:
Driver assessment required prior to starting
Industry-related training provided
Ongoing support and development
