Enviroquip, operates a sizeable waste equipment rental fleet being supported by integral workshop facilities equipped for a wide range of welding and fabrication, refurbishment and repair services, including waste compaction machinery manufacture from our facility based at Cardiff.Further information on the company can be found on our website:Reporting directly to the Transport Manager, the job holder will be responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient operation of the Companys collection services and the defined areas of responsibility within the business.Duties:Ensuring that all transport compliance, legislation and in-house procedures are always complied with.Working with the Transport Manager, ensure all vehicles are always serviced and maintained in a fit and road worthy condition in accordance with the Companys Operating License requirements.Be always prepared for any unscheduled checks and inspection by the Board of Directors or any representative of a regulatory authority.Carrying out all driving duties in a safe manner as instructed by the Transport Manager.Friday with rota for Saturday & Sunday duties.Delivering, through the Transport Manager and operations team an agreed service level in line with Company KPIs.Adopt a proactive approach to help achieve fleet productivity targets.Educated to a reasonable standardCurrent Class 2 driving licence essentialADR certified would be a distinct advantage or willing to obtainHolder of digital tachograph cardUp to date with CPC training hours requirementThe ideal candidate:Be fully conversant with all legislation and compliance relating to the transport industryPractical hands on approach, promoting a can do attitude from self and othersGood geographical knowledge of the operational area covered by the CompanyMust be flexible to support the growth of the company.To apply for this role, please forward a copy of your CVStrictly NO agencies. xkybehq Please note that all information received by Forward Waste Management as part of the recruitment process will be deleted and / or destroyed after 3 months from when you are sent the outcome of your application.
