HGV Class 2

Solvit Recruitment are currently looking for a HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers. Are you available now? This role is an on-going role. You will be invited for a driving assessment and an informal Interview. You will have your own safety boots and full PPE will be provided for you. We are working with a local authority who are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers; you will drive a refuse collection vehicle supplied by the Authority to carry out designated duties. These duties are to ensure that all waste streams (including Trade Waste) are collected. 37 hours per week, on a set rota. Hours of work will be over 5 days Monday to Friday, 4 out of 5 days which you will be given a rota. Start times from 07:00; however weather conditions you may start at 06:00. Rate of Pay, £14.82 per hour and Rolled up £16.61 per hour. Benefits. On-going role. Weekly pay. Secure onsite parking. Pension. Accrued Holiday Pay or Rolled up. Requirements. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Understand Health & Safety. Follow all traffic laws and regulations. Excellent communication oral and written. Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries. HGV Class 2 experience, minimum 1 year. No DR, DD, TT, IN and not served any bans in the last 5 years.
