HGV Class 2 CAT C driver - temp to perm

Class 2 Day Driver Join a well-established and respected logistics operation delivering palletised goods across the local area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join a professional transport team in a role offering regular routes, consistent weekday hours, and long-term stability. This position involves completing local collect and deliver work , ensuring deliveries are made safely, efficiently, and in line with all company and network procedures. The role will suit someone who takes pride in their driving, enjoys customer interaction, and is happy to be hands-on when required. Benefits Salary: £33,000 £35,000 per annum, depending on experience Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday Overtime: Saturday mornings 7:00am 1:00pm, once per month, paid as overtime Holiday: 22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays Pension: Company pension scheme Training: CPC training provided Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), uniform provided Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Role & Responsibilities Complete daily Class 2 collect and deliver routes across assigned local areas Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly at all times Use electric pallet trucks where required to support deliveries and collections Support the wider transport operation when required with ad hoc distribution duties Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety , driver, and transport regulations xkybehq Work closely with the Transport Manager and Shift Supervisors to support daily operations Required Skills & Experience Valid CPC and Category C (Class 2) licence At least 12 months experience driving a Class 2 vehicle preferred Strong awareness of road safety and transport compliance Reliable, flexible, and professional approach to work
