Chipping Norton . This is a great opportunity for a reliable and professional
Class 2 Driver
looking for regular work. This role is ideal for drivers who enjoy being on the road, are confident completing
multi-drop deliveries , and are happy with a hands-on role that includes
manual handling , customer interaction, and early starts. Benefits
£16.00 per hour PAYE
Starts times approx 0600
Average of
50 hours per week
during busier periods
Immediate starts available
Based in
Chipping Norton

new passes
Role & Responsibilities
Deliver between
6 and 14 drops per day
depending on route and workload
Safely operate an
HGV Class 2 vehicle
in line with
driver hours ,
tachograph regulations , and road transport legislation
Carry out
daily vehicle checks
and report any defects in line with company procedures
Load and unload vehicles using a
tail lift , with some routes involving
manual unloading
where required
Complete all
delivery paperwork , manifests, and delivery notes accurately
Provide a professional and reliable service to customers at each delivery point
Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time
Required Skills & Experience
Valid
HGV Class 2 licence
No more than
6 penalty points
Valid
Driver CPC (DQC)
Valid
Digital Tachograph Card
Previous
multi-drop driving experience
would be advantageous
Good understanding of
driver hours regulations
and
vehicle safety requirements
Comfortable with
manual handling
and physical work
Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
