People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay, a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours' pay per shift, and genuine opportunities to secure a permanent position.
This role would suit candidates with experience as an LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Truck Driver .
Rates of Pay: £16.25 per hour
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday
Start times between 01:30 - 04:30

Minimum of 8 hours paid per shift
No weekend work
Opportunity to secure a permanent position
Opportunity to work bank holidays (paid at the standard hourly rate)

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as an HGV Class 2 Driver are:
Completing two to five drops per day
Delivering roller cages and totes
Operating a tail lift
Assisting with handballing when required
Driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently
Ensuring all loads are safe and secure
Completing any necessary paperwork
Essential Skills:
To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver , you will need:
To be comfortable with early starts
A minimum of twelve months' previous Class 2 driving experience
A valid UK Category C Driving xkybehq Licence
A valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
No major endorsement codes
Training:
Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
