The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Nottingham area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Shifts: Shifts run across Monday to Sunday
Hours:
Start time Nights: 2 2:00pm - 23:59pm
Start time Twilights : 14:00pm -16:00pm
Pay Rate:
Nights - £16.35 per hour
Twilight -£15.43 per hour

NG16 3UA Job Type: Ongoing with the opportunity for permanent The role: Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to and from sub depots and delivery units. Handling runs with 1-5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork. Utilise tail lift and pump truck equipment for loading and unloading. Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner. Empty the vehicle and refuel at the end of each shift. Complete a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards and then complete a few days paid training if assessment is successful. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. Excellent communication skills. A safety-first mindset.
