Hgv Class 2 Driver

Location: Evesham Salary: £14–£15 per hour Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm Overtime: Time and a half Minimum 6 months experience required We are currently looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join the team and support the day-to-day operations of a busy plant hire depot. As a Class 2 Driver, your responsibilities will include: * Loading and unloading plant equipment safely and efficiently * Delivering and collecting plant and hire equipment from customers and sites * Carrying out off-hire checks on returned equipment * Reporting any damage or defects to the relevant team * Ensuring equipment is handled and transported safely * Supporting general depot operations when required * Maintaining a professional and helpful attitude when dealing with customers The ideal candidate will: * Hold a valid Class 2 (C) driving licence * Have a minimum of 6 months’ Class 2 driving experience * Have a good understanding of safe loading and unloading procedures * Be reliable, punctual and safety-conscious * Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team * Have a flexible and positive approach to supporting the wider depot team What We Offer: * £14–£15 per hour * Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm * Overtime available, paid at 1.5x the normal rate * 21 days’ annual leave + bank holidays * Additional holiday entitlement with length of service * A varied role within a busy plant hire environment * The opportunity to become a valued member of an established team If you’re an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday role with overtime opportunities, please click APPLY
