Class 2 HIAB Grab Driver
for a well-established client based in
Heanor . This is a great opportunity for a skilled and reliable driver to join a reputable company carrying out deliveries and collections of materials across various sites. The Role
As a Class 2 HIAB Grab Driver, you will be responsible for operating a HIAB-equipped vehicle to deliver and collect materials safely and efficiently, ensuring all work is completed to a high professional standard. Key Responsibilities:
Operating a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle fitted with a HIAB grab attachment.
Delivering and collecting materials from customer and construction sites.
Ensuring all loads are safely secured and compliant with regulations.
Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting defects.
Completing all delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
Providing a professional and courteous service when dealing with customers.
Adhering to all road traffic laws, health & safety regulations, and lifting procedures.
Requirements
Valid UK
Class 2 (Category C) licence .
Valid
HIAB (Grab) certification .
Valid Driver CPC qualification.
Digital Tachograph Card.
Previous experience operating a HIAB Grab is essential.
Strong understanding of transport and lifting health & safety regulations.
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
