HGV Class 2 Driver – Tipper / Mixer – Motherwell People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Tipper Driver, Mixer Driver, Concrete Mixer Driver, or Truck Driver to join our well-established client based in Motherwell .

This is a fantastic opportunity offering £15.00 per hour, immediate starts, ongoing long-term work, full training, and genuine opportunities for development within a supportive and professional transport environment.

Newly qualified HGV Class 2 drivers are welcome to apply – full training and support will be provided.

Shifts • Monday to Friday • 06:00 start times • Day shifts Rates of Pay • £15.00 per hour • Weekly pay (PAYE – holidays accrued separately) Benefits As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will receive: • Excellent hourly rates • Weekly pay • Ongoing, long-term work • Immediate starts available • Full training and support provided • Staff canteen • Free on-site parking • Company discounts after the qualifying period • Supportive working environment • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include: • Operating and driving Class 2 Tipper or Mixer vehicles safely and efficiently • Delivering products to business customers, sometimes with assistance from a Driver's Mate • Loading and unloading vehicles safely and carefully • Carrying out pre and post journey vehicle inspections • Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with safety regulations • Following assigned delivery routes and schedules • Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers • Completing all paperwork and vehicle defect reporting accurately • Please note that some handball duties are required Essential Skills As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need: • Valid UK Category C Driving Licence • Valid Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no IN, DR, DD, or CD endorsement codes • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude • Good communication and customer service skills • Good understanding of traffic laws and road safety regulations • The ability to work effectively as part of a team Desirable Experience • Previous Tipper or Mixer driving experience would be advantageous • Previous customer-facing delivery experience would be beneficial • Previous experience driving commercial vehicles would be desirable Training Provided • Full industry-related training provided • Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment Apply If you are ready to take on this opportunity as an HGV Class 2 Driver – Tipper / Mixer, apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch. xkybehq
