HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER – TRUNKING AND STORE DELIVERY – Coatbridge People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client's growing transport operation based in Coatbridge and the surrounding areas. - £20.73 per hour | Monday to Friday | Saturday Work Available | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work | Immediate Starts Available | Full Training Provided This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified drivers who are looking for stability, great earning potential and long-term progression. This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Truck Driver, Rigid Driver, Store Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver or Delivery Driver . Shifts • Monday to Friday • Saturday Work Available Rates of Pay • £15.58
- £20.73 per hour Benefits As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will receive the following benefits: • Excellent Hourly Rates (PAYE – Holiday Pay Accrued Separately) • Weekly Pay • Ongoing Work • Immediate Starts Available • Full Training Provided • Company Discounts After Qualifying Period • Staff Canteen • Free On-site Parking • Employee Wellbeing Programme Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include but not be limited to: • Safely operating and driving Class 2 vehicles to customer and delivery locations • Completing trunking and store deliveries safely and efficiently • Loading and unloading vehicles with care and accuracy • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects • Completing delivery paperwork accurately and on time • Adhering to all road traffic legislation and transport regulations • Communicating effectively with dispatch teams, customers and site staff • Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service throughout each shift Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need: • A valid UK Category C Driving Licence • A valid UK CPC Qualification Card • A valid Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD or CD endorsements) • A reliable, professional and punctual attitude • Good communication and customer service skills • A good understanding of road safety and transport compliance • The ability to work effectively with a Driver's Mate Desirable Experience • Previous commercial Class 2 driving experience • Previous trunking or store delivery experience • Multi-drop delivery experience • Experience handling large or bulky goods • Strong customer-facing delivery experience Training Provided • Full industry-related training provided • Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment Apply If you're looking for a well-paid driving role offering Monday to Friday work, weekly pay, ongoing assignments, full training and excellent career opportunities, apply today by clicking the link below.
