Class 2 Day Driver Join a well-established and respected logistics operation delivering palletised goods across the local area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join a professional transport team in a role offering regular routes, consistent weekday hours, and long-term stability. This position involves completing local collect and deliver work , ensuring deliveries are made safely, efficiently, and in line with all company and network procedures. The role will suit someone who takes pride in their driving, enjoys customer interaction, and is happy to be hands-on when required.
Benefits Salary: £33,000 £35,000 per annum, depending on experience Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday Working Hours: Between 7:30am and 5:30pm, with a 1-hour lunch break Overtime: Saturday mornings 7:00am 1:00pm, once per month, paid as overtime Holiday: 22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays Pension: Company pension scheme Training: CPC training provided Additional Benefits: Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), uniform provided Location: Thame Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Role & Responsibilities Complete daily Class 2 collect and deliver routes across assigned local areas Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly at all times Use electric pallet trucks where required to support deliveries and collections Deliver excellent customer service and deal with customers politely and respectfully Escalate any delivery, vehicle, or customer issues through the correct channels Support the wider transport operation when required with ad hoc distribution duties Assist with additional operational support activities as needed Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety , driver, and transport regulations xkybehq Work closely with the Transport Manager and Shift Supervisors to support daily operations Required Skills & Experience Valid CPC and Category C (Class 2) licence At least 12 months experience driving a Class 2 vehicle preferred Ability to manage your own route and work independently Strong awareness of road safety and transport compliance Good customer service skills and confidence dealing with customers face-to-face Willingness to drive a range of vehicles from 3.5t to 18t where required Reliable, flexible, and professional approach to work Apply now!
