HGV Class 2 Driver - Halesowen Earning Potential: Up to £1,000 per week People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Halesowen and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers looking for stable, ongoing work, excellent earning potential, and long-term career progression. This role would suit candidates who have previously worked as an LGV Driver, Category C Driver or Truck Driver . Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Start times between 05:00 and 06:00 Pay Rates: £15.50 per hour Up to £1,000 per week Benefits: As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will receive: Excellent hourly rates (PAYE – holiday pay accrued separately) Weekly pay Ongoing work Full training and support Immediate starts available Employee wellbeing programme Long-term opportunities with a growing transport operation Day-to-Day Duties: As a HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include: Safely operating and driving Category C vehicles to and from delivery locations Completing up to twelve multi-drop deliveries per day Loading and unloading vehicles safely and accurately Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and reporting any defects Adhering to all traffic laws and road safety regulations Completing delivery paperwork accurately Communicating effectively with transport teams, customers, and site staff Supporting with some handball duties as required Essential Skills: To be successful in this role, you will need: A valid UK Category C Driving Licence A valid CPC Card A valid Digital Tachograph Card No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, or CD convictions) A reliable, professional, and punctual approach Good communication and customer service skills A strong understanding of driver compliance and road safety regulations Desirable Experience: Previous commercial driving experience Multi-drop delivery experience Experience working in a customer-facing environment Training: Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment Apply Now: If you are ready to join a respected logistics business offering excellent rates of pay, regular work, and genuine opportunities for career progression, apply today by clicking the link below or contacting our recruitment team for more information.
