- Brick Grab People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, Class 2 Brick Grab Driver, LGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, Category C HIAB Driver, Lorry Loader Driver, Grab Driver, or Builders Merchant Driver to join our well-established client based in Bellshill and surrounding areas .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering up to £19.00 per hour , Monday to Friday working, immediate starts, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression within a well-established business.
Please note: To be considered for this role, you must hold a valid Brick Grab HIAB qualification.
This role is ideal for experienced HIAB drivers looking for stable, ongoing work, excellent rates of pay, and no weekend working.
Shifts • Monday to Friday • 06:30 starts Rates of Pay • £16.25
- £19.00 per hour • Weekly pay Benefits As a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will receive: • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing work • Weekly pay • Immediate starts available • No weekend working • Site canteen • Free on-site parking • Training provided • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Day-to-Day Duties As a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, your duties will include: • Delivering building materials to construction sites and customer locations • Operating and driving various Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently • Operating a HIAB/Lorry Mounted Crane safely and efficiently using a Brick Grab attachment • Carrying out pre and post vehicle inspections • Ensuring all loads are loaded and secured correctly • Adhering to traffic laws and transport regulations at all times • Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptly • Assisting with loading and unloading when required • Completing all delivery paperwork and PDA requirements accurately Essential Skills As a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will need: • A valid Brick Grab HIAB Certificate • Valid UK Category C Driving Licence • Valid Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no major endorsement codes • Experience operating a Brick Grab HIAB attachment • The ability to use a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) • Good level of spoken and written English • Excellent timekeeping and reliability • Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations • Effective communication skills • The ability to work effectively as part of a team Desirable Experience • Previous experience driving commercial vehicles • Previous experience with multi-drop deliveries • Previous experience delivering building materials would be advantageous • Previous experience working for a builders merchant would be beneficial Training Provided • Training provided on your first day • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply If you are ready to take on this opportunity as a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver
