HGV Class 1 TipperDriver (CE) Location: Tees Dock Road, Middlesbrough Salary: £16.88 per hour Contract: Fixed Term Contract minimum 5 Months Hours: Up to40hours per week, Days and Nights Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of Northumbrian Water for an experienced HGV Class 1 (CE) Tipper Driver based at Tees Dock Road, Middlesbrough.

The Role As an HGV CE Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for transporting sludge products from Northumbrian Water's sewage treatment works across the North East to treatment facilities.
Key responsibilities include: Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently Ensuring compliance with Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive and O-Licence requirements Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and defect reporting in line with DVSA standards Maintaining a clean, safe and compliant vehicle at all times Safely loading and unloading tanker equipment in accordance with Northumbrian Water Health & Safety procedures Promoting and supporting the "Everyone Home Safe Everyday" culture Driving in a fuel-efficient and environmentally responsible manner Delivering excellent service whilst representing Northumbrian Water professionally What We're Looking For: Full HGV Class 1 (CE) Licence Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience Valid Driver CPC qualification Valid Digital Tachograph Card Good understanding of EU Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive Strong commitment to health, safety and compliance Important Information Thisrole has been designated as a safety and security critical position.
As a condition of employment, successful candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
Failure to meet the required standards may result in any offer of employment being withdrawn.
