HGV Driver

Are you an experienced HGV Driver looking for a long-term opportunity with consistent Monday to Friday work? iRecruit4 are recruiting on behalf of a well-established distribution business based in Swindon for a reliable and hardworking HGV Driver to join their transport team. This can be a physically demanding HGV Driver role, completing multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers. The position would suit an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver who enjoys being on the road, providing excellent customer service, and getting involved with the loading and unloading of deliveries. Pay, Hours & Benefits for Class 2 HGV Driver: £17.30 per hour Overtime paid at £21.00 per hour Monday to Friday working 6:00am starts until finish Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience required Weekly pay Immediate start available Long-term opportunity with potential to become permanent No weekend working Full training and induction provided Supportive and friendly transport team Stable full-time HGV driving hours Duties for Class 2 HGV Driver: Completing multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers Driving a Class 2 (Category C) HGV vehicle safely and efficiently Loading and unloading deliveries using a tail lift and pump truck Carrying out manual handling throughout the working day Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects Completing delivery paperwork accurately Providing a professional and friendly service to customers Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time Requirements for Class 2 HGV Driver: A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence Valid Driver CPC qualification Digital Tachograph Card Minimum 6 months HGV / Class 2 driving experience Previous multi-drop delivery experience Experience using a tail lift and pump truck is advantageous A reliable, professional and customer-focused attitude Good knowledge of Drivers Hours, Working Time Directive and road transport legislation Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties If youre an experienced HGV Driver looking for your next opportunity in Swindon, offering great rates of pay, overtime opportunities, consistent hours and long-term stability, apply today or contact Shannon on 01793 987470 for more information.
