- £21.00 per hour (Starting rate) About the Role An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced HGV Technician to join a well-established company with over 75 years of industry experience .
Operating from a brand-new, modern workshop facility , the company is committed to investing in both its people and equipment, providing an excellent environment to build a long-term career.
Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of HGVs.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults.
Complete routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and safety checks.
Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections , ensuring they meet the required safety and compliance standards.
Complete job cards and maintenance documentation accurately.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety within the workshop.
Requirements Previous experience working as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Technician, Light Vehicle Technician , or in a similar role.
Vehicle Technicians looking to transition into HGVs are encouraged to apply , as full training and support will be provided.
Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification is preferred , although experienced candidates without formal qualifications are encouraged to apply.
Full UK Driving Licence.
HGV Licence is advantageous but not essential.
