PSV/HGV Mechanic – Full-Time (45 Hours per Week) Salary: £43,800 per year + overtime Location: South West (Wincanton area) A leading independent bus and coach operator in the South West is looking for a qualified and experienced PSV/HGV Mechanic to join their busy workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a modern and diverse fleet of buses and coaches within a supportive and professional environment. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on buses and HGVs * Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and complete repairs to DVSA standards * Prepare vehicles for MOTs, carry out inspections, and rectify defects * Maintain accurate service records and parts documentation * Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations Requirements: * NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent (preferred) * Proven experience as a PSV or HGV mechanic * Category D driving licence advantageous (or willingness to train) * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits: * £43,800 per year plus overtime opportunities * Company pension scheme * Ongoing training and career development * Supportive and profession...
