Location: Yorkshire and the Humber Salary: £15.00 - £20.00 per hour (DOE) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Shift Options * 4 on / 4 off Days: 06:00 - 18:00 * Monday to Friday: 07:00 - 17:00 The Opportunity Our client is a well-established commercial vehicle maintenance business operating across the North West. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit experienced HGV & Trailer Technicians to join their workshop team. Key Responsibilities * Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers. * Conduct vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance checks. * Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults. * Prepare vehicles and trailers for annual testing requirements. * Complete all job cards and maintenance records accurately. * Ensure all work is carried out in line with company and industry standards. * Maintain a safe and tidy working environment. Candidate Requirements Essential * NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. * Previous experience working on HGVs and trailers. * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. * Full UK Driving Licence. * Good communication and teamwork skills. Desirable * LGV/HGV Licence. * IRTEC accreditation. * Experience with a variety of commercial vehicle manufacturers.
