Specifying correct repair methods and identifying required parts. Conducting vehicle road testing to diagnose faults or sign off on repairs. Ensuring full compliance with health and safety (HSE) guidelines and standard operating procedures.  What You Need as the HGV Technician / PSV Technician NVQ / SVQ Level 3 (or City & Guilds equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Experience working on heavy vehicles (HGV/PCV) is preferred, but light commercial or mechanical military backgrounds are highly welcome. Good electrical fault-finding and diagnostic knowledge. Valid UK driving licence.
