HGV Technician

HGV Technician Salary: £21.00 per hour DOE Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: Monday to Friday + rotating Saturdays paid at time and a half   An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified HGV Technician to join a thriving and successful commercial vehicle business. This role offers a competitive hourly rate, regular daytime hours and overtime opportunities through a rotating Saturday rota.   The Role As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on commercial vehicles to a high standard.   Key Responsibilities: ·Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs efficiently and to manufacturer standards ·Diagnose faults and accurately identify appropriate repair solutions ·Ensure all work is completed in line with agreed job specifications and budgets ·Follow company service processes and workshop procedures ·Accurately complete time recording and job cards ·Prepare and maintain vehicles in line with DVSA and MOT requirements ·Ensure high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service at all times   What We're Looking For: ·Previous experience working as an HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle TechnicianLevel 3 City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance &   Repair ·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities ·Good knowledge of DVSA requirements and MOT preparation ·Strong technical knowledge of commercial vehicles ·Ability to work in an organised and methodical manner ·Good problem-solving skills ·Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook ·Ability to work independently and as part of a team   If you're an experienced HGV Technician looking for a well-paid role with a great Monday to Friday shift pattern, we'd love to hear from you.
