HGV Technician

HGV Technician Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex Up to £23 per hour, depending on experience Permanent Late Shift An established commercial vehicle dealer is looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join its modern workshop in Shoreham-by-Sea. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of heavy commercial vehicles, using the latest diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify mechanical, electrical and electronic faults. Responsibilities Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and associated components Diagnose faults using modern manufacturer diagnostic systems Complete vehicle inspections, including MOT and tachograph-related checks Ensure all work is completed accurately and to manufacturer standards Carry out final quality checks on completed repairs Support and mentor less experienced technicians when required Requirements Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician Relevant technical qualification, ideally NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic skills Full UK driving licence HGV licence is advantageous but not essential Own toolkit Package Up to £23 per hour, depending on experience Permanent late-shift position Ongoing manufacturer training and development Company pension Modern, well-equipped workshop Long-term progression within an established dealer group Apply now for further information.
