Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Hlta) or Teaching

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Required. Academics are seeking to place an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support one of our friendly and supportive schools from September until October half term based in Newcastle -under-Lyme. This role will primarily involve covering PPA across the school, with the majority of teaching taking place in Year 5. You will deliver high-quality, pre-planned lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and work closely with class teachers to ensure continuity in pupils' learning. An experienced teacher looking to take a step back from the demands of a full-time class teacher role while continuing to enjoy teaching. An Early Career Teacher (ECT) wishing to broaden their classroom experience and develop confidence across different classes before committing to a permanent class teaching position. An experienced HLTA with strong classroom management skills and a passion for supporting pupils' learning. Is adaptable, organised, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
